Ikonart Release Sheets

After using your Ikonart stencils you can return them to the clear carrier sheet that they came on. But if you lose it, forgot to mark the back, or just want the backing sheet to be larger than your stencil then protect the adhesive on your stencils with these Ikonart Release Sheets.

How To Use

After using your stencils, wash off the paint, paste, ink or other medium using warm water. You can use a foam brush or soft brush on the front side of your stencils to remove excess paint. Do not rub or scrub the adhesive side of your stencil. We do not recommend using any chemicals to clean the stencils, as this can break down the emulsion faster (ex. cleaning wipes).

After you wash your stencil you can return it to the original clear carrier sheet or you can use one of these Ikonart Release Sheets as a new backer sheet. Place the adhesive side of your stencil on the silicone (slippery) side of a Release Sheet while the stencil is still wet. Let the stencil dry on a flat surface. Store your stencils flat in a dry area.
